Yorùbá Lyrics is a crowdsourced archive of Yorùbá song transcripts and translations, run by the Yorùbá Names Lexicography Initiative, a registered non-profit in Nigeria. This page explains what the site stores about you and what you can ask us to do with it.
Reading the site
You can read every song without an account, and we ask for nothing to do so. The site keeps a count of how many times each song has been opened. That count is not tied to any person.
If you sign in
You only need an account to contribute. We store your email address, contributor name, and your contributions (songs, translations, notes, corrections). Your contributor name and your contributions are public. Your email address is never shown publicly, sold, or shared.
Advertising
The site may carry advertising from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. We never pass your personal information to advertisers.
